Who we are

AiGoodbye ("the app") is made by Dealer Of Happiness. This policy covers the AiGoodbye app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website.

What stays on your device

The app runs its AI models on your device's own chip. The following never leave your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else:

• Your conversations, prompts and the AI's answers
• Voice conversations, meeting recordings and their transcripts and summaries
• Photos, screenshots, camera frames and scanned documents you use in the app
• Documents and your Knowledge Library
• Your personas, private memory ("Remember that...") and settings

This information is kept in the app's private storage on your device. Like other app data, it can be included in your device backups if you back up your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes it from your device.

We do not collect

• Personal information such as your name, email address or contacts
• Usage analytics, crash analytics or diagnostics
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
• Location

There are no AiGoodbye servers that receive your data, and the app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.

Permissions

The app asks for a permission only when you first use a feature that needs it. Everything it captures is processed on your device.

• Microphone: voice conversations, the meeting recorder and spoken translation
• Speech recognition: turning speech into text, on your device
• Camera: Live Camera, Describe Surroundings and document scanning
• Photos: attaching a photo you pick to a chat
• Face ID: the optional app lock. Face ID is handled by iOS; the app never receives your biometric data.

When the app uses the internet

Once an AI model is on your device, the app works fully offline. It goes online only in these cases:

• Downloading an AI model you choose. Models are downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Where Hugging Face can't be reached, as in mainland China, the app downloads the identical files of its built-in models from ModelScope (modelscope.cn) instead, and checks every file against Hugging Face's own fingerprint before using it. As with any download, the server sees your IP address and the files requested. No conversations, documents or other personal data are sent. Hugging Face's privacy policy and ModelScope's privacy policy apply to their servers.
• Adding your own model. When you add a model by name, the app checks it on huggingface.co before downloading it.
• Apple system services. iOS may download speech or language resources from Apple when a feature first needs them. Apple Intelligence is provided by Apple under Apple's terms.

The Privacy Center inside the app shows what the app connects to, and when.

Siri, Shortcuts, widgets and sharing

When you use AiGoodbye from Siri, Shortcuts, a widget, Control Center or the share sheet, the content is passed to the app on your device. It is not sent to us.

Children

AiGoodbye does not collect information from anyone, including children.

This website

aigoodbye.ai is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical information such as IP addresses to keep the service secure; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. You stay in control of everything on your device, and you can delete any conversation, recording, document or model from inside the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
